Dr. Caroline Coombs-Skiles is a board-certified cancer specialist with a focus on surgery for benign and malignant breast disease.

Educational Background

Dr. Coombs-Skiles received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her five-year residency in general surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

Awards & Research

Dr. Coombs-Skiles received the prestigious Raleigh Ross Scholar award from the Texas Surgical Society.

Dr. Coombs-Skiles helped to establish the new Breast and Oncology Clinic at Austin Cancer Center, which is located at The Park Building at St. David’s Medical Center. This clinic offers patients the combined experience of breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and a certified breast cancer nurse navigator who are working together as a team to treat each breast cancer patient.
