Farah Walters-Bailey is Chief Financial Officer at Austin Cancer Center. As CFO, Walters-Bailey directs our day-to-day finances and is responsible for reengineering the accounting processes at Austin Cancer Center.
Walters-Bailey received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Texas at El Paso.
Walters-Bailey joined Austin Cancer Center as controller in March 2013 and was promoted to CFO in March 2014. Walters-Bailey has 30 years of operations and accounting experience, with 17 years of executive health care management experience. As the CFO for Austin Cancer Center, Walters-Bailey took on all accounting and financial functions, quickly organizing capital and fundraising efforts that boosted the organization. Walters-Bailey provides executives with timely and accurate financial statements, ongoing cash flow projections, oversight of accounting and finance operations, and design and maintenance of the financial reporting structures. Her Total Quality Management experience has greatly accelerated the company’s effort to document business policies and procedures as well as the opportunity to help ensure the continued success of Austin Cancer Center promoted by financial decisions.
