Dietary risk factors are the leading risks for both death and disability. Thirty to thirty-five percent of cancer deaths are due to poor diet. Dr. McCurdy discusses the convergence of nutritional advice and the morbidity/mortality associated with dietary risk factors. His discussion includes the anti-inflammatory, Mediterranean, anti-cancer, and DASH diets. Dr. McCurdy concludes with a discussion on an optimal lifestyle program.
