Dr. Adham Jurdi is a board certified medical oncologist, and he is also board-certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Jurdi received his degree in Medicine and Surgery at the Beirut Arab University in Beirut, Lebanon. After graduating, Dr Jurdi attended East Tennessee State University, Quillen College of Medicine where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Medical Oncology.
Awards & Research
After completing his training, Dr Jurdi joined the Syracuse VAMC and SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, where soon thereafter he became the site director for the university based Hematology-Oncology fellowship and chaired the Cancer Care Committee and Gastro-Intestinal tumor board at the VA Medical Center.
Dr Jurdi was subsequently appointed as the Medical Director of Hematology-Oncology at the SUNY Upstate Cancer Center. In his role he oversaw the expansion of the practice and was involved in multiple quality and research initiatives, in addition to general oversight of the department.
Dr Jurdi is specialized in solid tumors, especially gastro-intestinal cancers, lung cancer and melanoma. He is specifically passionate about personalized medicine utilizing the most recent advances in medicine to create a unique treatment plan tailored to each of his patients.
